XM SESSIONS! NEW SINGLE! GREAT FESTS THIS SUMMER! AND MOM’S HOME FROM MEXICO!!

Hey Hikksters!!  Just thought we’d let you know we have a new single out!  The title is “NOT EVEN A MEMORY”. We performed it on CMT’s XM Sessions in April,(if you missed it check it out by clicking media on our main menu) and they have been spinning the clip in their video rotation!

Other news is that Kelly and Kenny’s mom returned from Mexico where she’s been doing great work with the an animal shelter there. She managed to bring home 17 dogs to Canada and find them all great homes in Calgary and Edmonton! She was also part of a fundraiser which raised $9,000.00 to help spay and neuter many animals to curb the population, as for the most part the animals are homeless and in terrible shape. We’re all proud of you Anne!

Since we are getting a lot of positive comments on this song we have decided to create our own montage video with you the fans, so you can be the stars! BEST OF THE SEASON FROM THE JO HIKK GUYS!

In the first week of December JO HIKK were filmed at Calgary’s Palomino Club for ‘The XM Sessions’ which will be broadcast on CMT early in 2011! The songs the band performed are favorites from the Ride album, “My Kind of Radio” and “Closer”, together with “If I Were A Stranger”,” Not Even A Memory” and their latest single, “With A Smile Like That”! from their new album, The Game! Another band recording at the Palomino for the same session was The Band Perry, who just had the #1 charted country song in the United States and have been nominated for a Grammy, with their single, “If I Die Young”!

“With A Smile Like That” is being played at radio across Canada. Please feel free to request this superb single at your local radio station. If you loved Kelly’s vocals in “My Kind of Radio”, you’ll love ‘em even more in this song!

We’re excited to share with you the brand new single and video from the forth coming album “The Game” which will release in stores and online Tuesday August 10, 2010.

The guys just got back from a very successful trip and showcase in Nashville as part of the Global Artist Event and the video has been added into medium rotation at CMT which aired this morning for the first time.
